According to recent researches, the revenue for public and private cloud servers will increase at an annual growth rate of 16.6 percent, generating $11.0 billion in 2016. The executives who proactively migrate their IT infrastructure to cloud-based architecture will generate new revenues, which will increase 3 times for 2011 – 2017. Along with this, the volume of enterprise data will increase by a phenomenal 650% over the next five years.

This unstoppable IT trend - Cloud Computing – will be in the focus of the 4th National Conference “Cloud Technologies on the verge of maturity”, that will be held on the 20th of November 2014 at Sofia Event Center.

The business migration to the cloud - the most transformative technology shift since the personal computer and the Internet, has reached a tipping point in 2012, and nowadays it is no longer a trend but rather an absolute business requirement.

The technical foundations of Cloud Computing, that include Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Virtualizations of hardware and software, as well as the various cloud offerings such as infrastructure cloud (hardware and IT infrastructure management), software cloud (SaaS focusing on middleware as a service or traditional CRM as a service), application cloud (Application as a Service and social network as a service), and business cloud (business process as a service) are just a few in the vast sea of cloud computing.
