Go: A Brief Comparison With Other Languages & Examples In Production
Go is a great trade-off between performance and ease-of-use. Go is a compiled language and is syntactically similar to C. The programming language provides some high-level features which are common in interpreted languages, such as simple syntax and garbage-collection. Go also integrates concurrent programming concepts which are a great advantage when programming for multi-threaded, multi-core platforms.
Join us for an insightful talk where our colleagues Vladislav and Ivan will show you examples of how Go compares to some other languages in terms of both code structure and performance. You will hear a bit about the general philosophy of the language and what sets it apart from other programming languages.
