Sofia Game Jam 2016

For the third time in 2016 Bulgaria will take part in the international Global Game Jam event. The Global Game Jam was founded 8 years ago, and in 2014 488 locations in 72 countries around the world, took part, with 23 198 registered participants.

Official hosts of Sofia Game Jam 2016 is SBar – the newest and trendiest meeting hub for IT professionals, entrepreneurs and digital creators, coming together to innovate, share ideas and connect. It is a place for learning opportunities, meeting people of shared interests and creatively shaping a new world of ideas!

Sofia Game Jam is open to anyone interested in video games – professional, students or just people with talent! The idea behind the event is to get together a mix of people with different backgrounds, interests and skills, and motivate them to work together on an idea. Just for the sake of the challenge!

It is the place where professionals and complete beginners meet, unite forces and make a game for 2 days. It is a fun playground where developers can experiment with technologies and also to challenge their team-working skills. it can be challenging and hard work but most of all great fun. Making games with other people is even funnier!
