We're excited to announce our very first TechTalks Annual Conference, taking place on October 10th, 2015 in Rainbow Plaza, Sofia.This event gives an excellent opportunity for IT professionals to exchange knowledge and solutions while learning the latest industry trends.

A renowned software engineer with particular expertise in software engineering adaptive systems, adaptive control, self-regulation, resilience engineering, information visualization, software simulation & mirroring as well as performance measurement and optimization. Pioneered the application of activity based metering & costing in the monitoring and management of applications, runtimes and platforms. Developed the first adaptive multi-strategy based dynamic metering solution that addressed the many challenges in measuring the performance of low latency applications in particular gaming and trading platforms. The architect of Simz, The Matrix for Machines, a scalable discrete event simulation engine that replays, in near real-time, the execution behavior and resource consumption of metered method calls across an entire infrastructure of instrumented application runtimes within a single simulated runtime. Previously worked at Borland, HP Software, AT&T and Logica. Born in Dublin, Ireland. Currently living in The Netherlands.

Kees Jan Koster is software architect en HIP trainer. As a Java expert he specialises in designing and performance tuning large, distributed systems. As HIP trainer, Kees Jan is the driving force behind the nascent Human Interaction Protocol. With HIP, Kees Jan puts your team into high throughput, low latency mode. Kees Jan speaks often and energetically about Java and about distributed systems in general. He likes to challenge the audience to ask questions and offer rebuttal to his ideas. Kees Jan previously gave presentations at JavaOne, Devoxx, TheServerSide Symposium, ScanDevConf, ejug and J-Fall.

Kirk Pepperdine works as an independent consultant offering Java performance services and training. Prior to focusing on Java, Kirk developed and tuned systems written in C/C++, Smalltalk, and a variety of other languages. Kirk has written many articles and spoken at several conferences on the subject of performance tuning. He helped evolve www.javaperformancetuning.com as a resource for performance tuning tips and information. More recently he has started a performance tooling company, jClarity Ltd.

Particularly interested in web projects, new technologies and frameworks recent of them are Google Compute Engine, Docker, Ansible, Spring Boot, Vert.X, Erlang, Chef, Django, Play Framework, Capistrano, Spring Integration. Specialties: About 10+ years of experience in software engineering. Has practical experience to work in Agile team, in setting up/advocating agile/XP/clean code practices and processes, design and implementation of CI & CD. Passionate about DevOps. Expert with: J2EE[ JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, Spring, Hibernate, JPA], SQL[ MySQL, Oracle], JavaScript, Ajax, XML, HTML, CSS.
